What to Expect in a First Session

In our first session together, you can expect a warm, gentle space where nothing is expected of you but to simply show up as you are. I’ll take time to understand what’s been weighing on you, what feels tender, and what kind of support you’re hoping for. There’s no pressure to share anything before you’re ready, we’ll go at your pace. This first meeting is about building trust, making sure you feel safe, and helping you feel seen.

My Approach

My approach is rooted in evidence-based and relational therapies, drawing from CBT to explore patterns in your thoughts and behaviors, and from psychodynamic and attachment-based perspectives to gently understand how past experiences may still shape your present. I also integrate Emotion-Focused Therapy to help you connect with, express, and heal through your emotions in a safe and supportive space. Each of these approaches helps us honor both your inner world and the real-life challenges you’re navigating.
